Based on the statistic previously quoted, we at Off Plan Investments believe that certain types of property will become more sought after, than others. So with this come our predictions as the demographic shift begins to take place between now and 2050:
Property In Demand
- Secure luxury apartments in nice neighbourhoods close to city centre's in UK
- Quality medium sized home in the England and south Wales in secure areas in market towns, historic university towns and villages – the further south the more popular
- Seaside property with sea views along North West coast of England – e.g. Blackpool, Southport and the Wirral.
- Holiday homes and villas in European countries that can be easily accessed by air travel
Property Not in demand
- Large suburban houses in average areas in cities in Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Portugal, Greece, eastern European countries and Germany
- Village and rural homes in that are not close to airports and amenities and cannot be classified as either holiday, second or retirement homes.
- “Run of the mill” family homes with many bedrooms in areas not close to good amenities, health care, city centre culture and tourist attractions.
